As for the Apple and Google play store "vetting the apps", there have been numerious cases of fradulent apps gets apporved on Apple and Google stores. The benefit with Zapstore is that the developer of Apps sign the release with their own keys, which verifies the authenticity of apps on @Zapstore.
As for the buggy experience on youe device, perhaps you need to delete and resintall your Zapstore app and see if that improves your experience. Hope that helps.
