Quantum, like Fusion, are still both somewhere between science and engineering... In the sense that, disruptive scientific advancements might advance their timeline, but if they have to rely purely on engineering development based on known principles they're both probably at least ~5-10 years off... And that's assuming they get sufficient funding with good R&D management practices.
