The Coldcard hack compromises the buyers of last resort. Coldcard consumers are the more sophisticated Bitcoin investors.

Selfishly, this may be the worst thing to ever happen to Bitcoin.

It is also the best thing to happen to bitcoin. Nothing can be built on a foundation of sand. And in hindsight it has become clear, that simply using a hardware wallet that you got from some podcaster shilling his referral code is not a safe way to hold your coins. The industry will need to evolve a...
