The mind at war with reality cannot change reality.
Patañjali called it citta vṛtti - the churning of thoughts, judgments, comparisons. We think this agitation drives us forward. It doesn't. It just burns fuel.
When the fluctuations stop, something unexpected happens: you see clearly and act without friction.
That is the paradox of yoga. Stillness doesn't make you passive. It makes you effective.
