Hmm, have I made a mistake? I was trying to quantify the entropy of the block via the configuration of finite bits( Satoshis) of value in a finite memory timespace. How do we quantify the Shannon entropy of a block?

I think the direction of the equations needs fully explain a complete block header and all components thru then lens of energy, memory (information), entropy, time, logic. There’s more work to be done lads 🫡

It looks like derivation has a gap but then definition is fine. In section 7.10 (Block Energy), the entropy definition has a derivation gap where the sum over block outputs is claimed to collapse to −p_block · ln(p_block), which only holds for single-output blocks. The downstream formulas are fi...
