China don't use tiktok.
China never owned tiktok.
Byte dance the company that made tiktok made a completely seperate app for the Chinese.
And byte dance was always majority American owned, like 30% Chinese owners.
As for the algorithm it used to be good, when I started using tiktok it was a lot like early YouTube, lots of interesting educational content. Now my fyp is mostly just pro Israel propaganda instead of interesting educational content.
