According to Bloomberg, citing a U.S. official, Donald Trump currently has “no plans” to deploy U.S. troops into Iran, including to the strategically critical Kharg Island.

However, the official added that the U.S. is keeping that option on the table, signaling that while no deployment is planned at this time, it has not been ruled out.
