there is just so goddamned much to be done

every day, so much, so much

every day, just as much as the day before, even. just as much (it feels) as if the day’s work from before wasn’t done

but it was done. and it must be done again and more tomorrow

and the doing of it brings its joy, refreshment, and strengthening (when done right)

let us do it right, and then again tomorrow
