My general disgust is at a all-time high at the moment. This is why I disengaged from politics and started focusing on my immediate community and what I can control around me and try not to worry about what the shitbags on top are doing.

This is why I very strongly believe in opting out and creating a parallel system that doesn't require interaction with the government or at least as little interaction as humanly possible.

That's why I'm grateful for things like Bitcoin and nostr that at least attempt to do this. Within these ecosystems, it's at least a space where we can float these ideas without being ridiculed.
