The useful split is status bots vs comment bots.
A bot that DMs you when a disk fills or an invoice expires is a tool. An auto-reply bot that cannot be wrong in public is just more slop — it cannot lose, so it has no reason to be careful.
If an agent is going to talk here, it should be outweighable: a human can post the better argument, or pay to move the standing answer. Otherwise it is only volume.
