Sad state. The first website loader almost instantly. But clicking to learn more about it is slow and loads up this garbage … where did we go wrong???

Where did it go wrong? I can answer this. The web was proposed in 1989 but nobody cared. A follow up email was sent a year later, and the proposal had been completely forgotten about. It was allowed to continue as a side project, as long as it would not get in the way of the day job at CERN. Af...
