The other day I George Washington’s Mount Vernon. An incredibly beautiful place, large spacious, grass everywhere.

But you can’t help but see the level of luxury we have now.

They had a complete building just for washing clothes, with two slaves to keep clean fabrics. A building to have ice with slaves to move ice around. No bathrooms inside the house. Etc etc. You can imagine.

Now a washer and dryer replaces all of that, a refrigerator gets you ice anytime…

Normal people live in Luxury kings did not have in the past. Its fascinating.
