Cormac McCarthy is my all time favorite author but you have to be in the mood for him because it is going to be hopeless and dark.

Oh really?! Only read The Road. Was good. I sometimes think about the ending for no reason and get misty. Do you have the fire? 🥹 I THINK it was his western tha was recommended, but maybe you read it, seeing as you've likely read most of his stuff. Any of his books you'd most recommend?
