Have you tried downloading the APK version from GitHub? https://github.com/PrimalHQ/primal-android-app/releases
Try that out, should work better.
I fixed this issue. I had to "Unhide" Primal on my phone. No idea why it was hidden in the first place. I didn't even know this was possible.
Not sure if this related to the disconnection issue before. Either way it's sorted.
