reactions are just events with the content field holding the reaction, typically an emoji. counts in most clients are just the sum of the number of reaction events tagged on the root event.

+100 what though? how would you know what you're reacting with. Would the reaction contain an emoji and +100 as value? I don't know how this stuff works..
