We have as much chance contacting another alien civilization as we do guessing someone else’s private key.
That depends on if those alien civilisations stay in their home system or manage to spread to other stars. If they spread and survive over millions of years, then the chances of us eventually contacting another civilisation goes up by a lot particularly if we do the same...
