We bumped into a bunch of our friends today and exchanged stories about the highlight of the day for each of us. I had two but totally forgot the third one, which to me was actually a pretty massive piece of joy that I know will be making me smile every time I remember it. It was this:

Last time we were in a cafe, about two or three weeks ago, I was chit-chatting with the owner about how he uses healthy oils and picks the best options to the best of his knowledge. Then we had a chat about the non-stick pans he was using as I could see them hanging on the wall.

We went there again today and he pointed at the wall—the pans were gone! He had one or two stainless steel ones now and planned to get even more. “Oh my big mouth was useful, wowzers!” I said. “It was something I had been wanting to do for a long time and you mentioning it just pushed it way up on my priority list.”

Small little chit-chat and such an impactful outcome. Gave me so much joy!!
