Have reconnected with an old hobby and was genuinely excited to meet an old (male) friend who also participates in this hobby because he was always a nice chap… had received messages from him also saying how much he was looking forward to seeing me etc etc… however through social media I discovered he has clearly had an affair with a younger woman and left his wife in a spectacularly crappy way and it has totally ruined the whole vibe of the thing.
