If this is so simple of a bug, why did it take the bleeding edge AI model to find it . That doesn't add up
It does add up. Just nobody checked the source of the entropy was where it was meant to come from.
Hard to spot easily if you just look at code but easy to find if you check the thing meant to create the randomness was actually creating it. This post is saying there should never be any “fallback” that made it look like it was genuinely created.
This is a testing failure. They didn’t test the literal number one thing you needed to get right. It’s unbelievable this was the case.
