I prefer the top load style with an agitator. Just bought a Maytag that has been great so far, but it’s only been about 6 months. I had a front load Samsung and the drum constantly came loose and got extremely loud, then broke. Also, the front load ones tend to get water caught in the rubber that stinks unless you leave the door open to let it dry out after every use. That’s a problem I’ve never had with the top load style.
