It's very silly that people are arguing over which way around the toilet roll should hang when literally all of you have your hand soap pumps backwards.

Point them away from you and curl your fingers round. It only takes one hand to pump, and it doesn't matter how fast the soap comes out because you're covering every angle — even if you do somehow miss, it'll go on the bathroom surface and not your trousers. There's no downside!
