It's very silly that people are arguing over which way around the toilet roll should hang when literally all of you have your hand soap pumps backwards.
Point them away from you and curl your fingers round. It only takes one hand to pump, and it doesn't matter how fast the soap comes out because you're covering every angle — even if you do somehow miss, it'll go on the bathroom surface and not your trousers. There's no downside!

@nprofile1q... a few jobs ago I convinced the team to combine the seven repos that made up one app and people kept calling the result "the monorepo" as if one (1) were somehow an unusual number of repos to have for a single app
when i left the readme had a screengrab of janet from the good place captioned "*not a monorepo", no idea if that's still in there (or if the app is still in use)
no tech words mean anything

I spent a bunch of yesterday building an app where you can make your own autostereograms like the 90s "Magic Eye" pictures, and it comes with an explainer page on how they work.

I found out whose keyboard it is, and he tells me they behave as ordinary modifier keys, and the git-themed keycaps are purely for show. I am disappointed to learn this.
@nprofile1q... I think I'm relieved, nobody should be rebasing often enough to require such a big key for it
