I wonder if one to grow is as a disqus alternative to support comments on websites. I’ve already seen some users worried that disqus may be required to ask for digital ID in some countries and I don’t think people are ready to share their ID to send a few comments.

i dont care if another protocol thats similar replaces it, it started something that cant be stopped. This is going to get bigger than you think, later than you think.
