Well friend I think Trump is just as bad for Bitcoin as Biden was and as Harris would have been, but it different ways. Trump led many bitcoiners into complacency while a rolled out a fiat stablecoin agenda that is fundamentally designed to sideline and or capture Bitcoin. As the same time Trump as smeared his stink of open air grift shit all over Bitcoin with his meme coins and his son’s fake bitcoin mining company. These anti-bitcoin efforts will fail, as all state efforts fail, but has, at least for a time, given fiat financial interests far too deep a foothold in the Bitcoin narrative.

With Biden, the attacks on Bitcoin were more direct. And with Harris they may have been even more so. Under this regime though, which would also fail, you might have absolute insanity like unrealized capital gains taxes and price controls. But at the same time, far more people would be taking self custody. Far more people would be using Bitcoin as money rather than as a USD maybe-sometimes-NgU “risk-on equities correlated asset.” There would be less room for regulated fiat games on top of Bitcoin.

TrumpCoiners clapped and drooled because they thought Trump would bring “systemic legitimacy” to Bitcoin, cucking for the approval of the system they claim to want to see dismantled.
