If they get hacked will they refund customers?
Exchanges are also vulnerable to the state, that's the biggest issue. If regulators or law enforcement want to freeze or seize coins from an exchange nothing you can do to stop them.
Something tells me that all the Bitcoin influncers with connections to coinkite and opensats suddenly telling people to move their Btc to exchanges is a trick.
