i think any distro is fine, but amdgpu tends to work best on linux

I moved from windows to Linux gaming several years ago. No looking back. Proton is great. I like PopOS.

There is near zero difference between the distro's imho. In the end they can all run steam/lutris/hero launcher (or whatever it's called).
