Because they’ve mostly settled on their networks of choice by now. The Twexodus is over, and Nostr never caught on with the crowds when it had the chance. People don’t change their entire social graph often, maybe once in a decade or so at best. It’s kind of like car insurance.

Instead of trying to onboard new users to nostr the client devs are mostly interested in poaching users from existing clients. That's a big part of it.
