Most clients do everything that they are supposed to do.
Because people on the Right who claim to care about Freedom really just want "their guy" in charge, and now that Elon's in control of X and Zuck wears a chain, "it's all good in the hood."
Meanwhile people on the Left take one look around here and go "eww Bitcoin" and run away.
The people who actually care about decentralized social media are on Mastodon, but Nostr people go "eww rainbow flag on the profile" and then add "mostr . pub" to their banned words list.
