Devs can do the same effort without broadcasting. OpenSats can give the money quietly and just wait a month after patches are there to start virtue signaling. Instead they choose to broadcast to the world the existence of the vulnerabilities. OpenSats is the last group that should be talking right now.

I'm not sure. I think this may actually help prevent more panic and a mass exodus. It also sends the signal that we're on it and that efforts to exploit these vulnerabilities will become increasingly ineffective and expensive because we're uniting and have the people and funding to secure the field....
