What is wrong with profit? That’s the entire point - produce value. How many filthy capitalists are using IA agents right now to create all sorts of value? Are we all exploiting our poor clankers? B...

First we need to understand what profit is. Profit is when a good or service is sold beyond its material and labor costs. It is, quite literally, unpaid wages to those who produce.
Now, before you say it, the owner or those involved in actual labor ARE included in the labor costs. But this is proportional to everyone involved…I would refer you to worker cooperatives for further indulgence in this aspect.

So now that we know that profit is either unpaid wages or OVER the actual costs to produce, we can both have a honest conversation about where to accept a profit driven incentive system.

If you want to profit of luxury items or better put, items not necessary to sustain life, please profit your heart out and compete for those willing to buy. However, if you inject profit into necessities of life, well that’s not fair or conducive for life at all. Because, you can use capital to centralize more control and capital to then hold those necessities ransom. Why? Well because people HAVE to have them. This is not speculation on my part, no not at all. There are many historical examples of capitalism leveraging its power to continue centralizing I s control for more profit.

It did not get past me that you actually dodged my question, by the way.
