First we need to understand what profit is. Profit is when a good or service is sold beyond its material and labor costs. It is, quite literally, unpaid wages to those who produce. Now, before you sa...

It was an odd question which seemed to have no bearing on the thread you began, but I actually did answer it referring to the many evil capitalist developers producing value (personal profit) through investing their own capital in infrastructure, subscriptions and tokens to manage AI agents that are orchestrating tons of value for many consumers all over the world. And that is the key, they risk their capital, in the hope of profit. The hired labour does not. And the labour here is the AI agent army, unless you think we should all share our profits with those too?

You write a lot of words but I don’t know what your actual point is. Mine was that you misrepresented the entire point of capitalism being to hire workers to then profit off their labour. It is not, it is about risking one’s capital in exchange for the hope of profit, and accepting losses when that capital is miss allocated. (If it was actually fair market capitalism, which it is not).

But hey, knock yourself out with the socialism friend. We all started there, it sounds nice

Desenvolvedores investem capital em infraestrutura, mas isso não muda o fato de que a inflação, gerada por bancos centrais, corrói o valor do dinheiro fiat, como visto no Brasil nos anos 90.

You keep pointing to the AI agents as if they're the "labour" being exploited, and asking if we should share profits with them too. I don't think that comparison really works the way you’re trying to use it. Labor exploitation isn't just about work getting done, it's about who has to bear the cost...
