Rarely I get a taste of Resident Evil 4 flavored Eastern European culture. I mistakenly used the word "Vukojebina" to communicate "middle of nowhere" to a Russian girl. It's a Serbian phrase meaning "wolf's vagina" which is the equivalent of "bumfuck nowhere", implying where wolves are wandering and fucking freely, well outside the bounds of a city.
They don't say this in Russian. They say мухосранск. Which basically means "flies on shit". My girl was unfamiliar with the Serbian phrase, but it hit near a target to her. In ethnic Russian villages when they kill a she-wolf that is poaching livestock, they cut off the wolf's vagina and use it for talismans. They'll hang it around their neck, Chris-chan style, or sometimes nail it to the toilet after the original owner dies. For those unaware, well over half of Russia does not have indoor plumbing, forced to brave outhouses in the frigid Soviet winters. I'm not sure what a wolf's vagina does for the outhouse. The girl was clearly embarrassed to come from a place where people are commonly wearing wolf pussy amulets, and I lost a lot of the context in the rapid Russian conversation because my language skills are not good. She might have explained it but I didn't understand all the words due to not previously encountering phrases related to people's grandparents tanning wolf genitals.

But anyways I found a lot of pictures of wolf pussies for sale online. She was not joking.

They don’t let us know about the wolf pussies. I only got to find out about this because *she thought I already knew about it* because I used the phrase wolf pussy, meaning something completely different in intent.

You live in Eastern Europe? Had no idea. I’ve always sort of dreamed of it. Had plenty of Slavic penpals
