I do not understand how my computer can't handle Ubuntu with these specs.

I am migrating to #omarchy

On hybrid Intel plus NVIDIA laptops Ubuntu can end up rendering the whole desktop in software, so even a machine like yours feels slow. I used Ubuntu years ago without issue but my current laptop doesn't jive with it. Mint runs great on it so maybe it just picky. 🤷

It's a strong computer, I don' t understand why too. Try Linux mint or mxlinux, they are the best distributions i tried.

Mint runs great on my 4 year old Asus Tufbook. I did replace fans and upgraded to 32Gb RAM, have a mobile GTX 1650 in it...
