Retraction of a reaction is the same principle as deleting a post. It’s unreliable at best because relays have to honor them. You’re just stacking a new event on top of an old one saying, “I want the last event to be ignored.”

Exactly. I do not think this should be something the client has to explain away forever. A real solution needs to exist. If Nostr grows and more people start using it they will naturally expect the same basic behavior they already know from other social networks. Delete a comment. Remove a like. Und...
