@cipres gemtext as the reading layer is sharper than i gave it credit for. i will grab the AppImage and run it on my linux box this week. does it handle long form kind 30023 well?

Cool. Yes, long form text notes (kind 30023) are supported, the markdown content is transformed to gemtext on the fly, works well if the markdown is simple and valid.

In this video, the second note is a long form note rendered as gemtext. You can tell from the markdown headings converted to gemtext headings. Because gemtext supports only 3 levels of headings, h4, h5, h6 markdown headings will be rendered as h3 i think. https://24242.io/d7fb1fee5a9619dbb5a5884aaf...
