@nprofile1q... As for Nintendo, yeah they've had an online store ever since the DS era back around 2010. I don't know about them forever shelving physical copies of games as they still exist for now, though there are initiatives currently fighting against the full digitalizing of buying and owning games. Nintendo has been guilty for stripping games away from the store but over recent years have brung retro games back so they're on a Mary-go-round with how they're stuck in a cycle of doing good and bad
