Help needed nostriches !
My grandson has arrived! Yay me.
We are having some issues and I need advice.
Midwife wants him to use formula (not a lot) since the breast milk has not come in yet. He is very sleepy and is not productively feeding. (Which of course would stimulate the milk to come in )
Son and daughter in law are reluctant but want to do the best for baby. I cannot find any formula for infants that does not contain soy or seed oils. Midwife says no to whole milk and the baby is jaundice and really needs to get the gi system moving

My experience was I felt useless as a mother because I couldn't feed my child as nature intended. Get the baby fed and get the stress off mama, I had to tickle Jr's feet and strip him down to keep him awake while trying to nurse (my milk never came in after trying many things to stimulate it) or fee...
