Hegseth says "maximum lethality." Ok, that was the Vietnam War strategy: "we'll count the corpses, & if we get a lot of corpses, that means we're winning."

Obviously that's monstrous & incentivizes indiscriminate killing, but it's also not focusing on strategically important objectives.

Also, when you are fighting a guerilla resistance, you continually create more enemy combatants. The more people you kill, the more they want to be rid of you. It's not hard to comprehend.

I don't want the US to be BETTER at war. It's just astounding to see how badly mixed up the priorities are. The Art of War is literally "War for Dummies," but maybe that's still too advanced for lil Petey Kegsbreath.
