Is it an American custom to sue every little things in civil case?
The amount they are claiming sometimes is less than $250 - $500.
Doesn't that cost solicitor/lawyer's fee or does it mean solicitor's fee is cheap in the US?

Eg. 5 yr old televesion, neighbours disputing over twigs, old mobile phone

It's been forever since I've seen an episode of Judge Judy, but it was all "small claims court" stuff in the past. Those cases don't require an attorney.
