I think the war for individual users is already over for them.. just a matter of time before streaming expert models allow frontier-level AI on typical consumer hardware.

But for businesses... tougher call. They will definitely lose on the harness front. Businesses are already discovering the power of a custom agent tailored to their way of doing things. But the models? Things like Bedrock make it very attractive for them over managing their own shared models with rented GPUs.

But many businesses that I've talked to are really concerned about per-token costs. So we will see.
