I member. Hard wire with Ethernet ports folks Lots of routers these days don't have the option to turn off WiFi but you can block it with mylar emergency blankets (like the ones for camping)

Everyone needs to switch to openWRT. It's not too hard. The easiest is a glinet router which uses openWRT but has a nice UI skin.
