Unpopular opinion: Tor is only necessary and fulfill its goal when you're trying to hide from a government of a thirdworld country
I think everybody should be using Tor all the time, or as much as humanly possible. Since there would be more traffic, it would be harder to monitor the network and easier to hide amongst all the other traffic.
