For me, I won't use Monero for 2 reasons:
1: The "Don't verify, trust" ethos. It prioritizes privacy over verifiably sound of money, and while both are important, it's putting the cart before the horse.
2: Tail emissions. It ultimately has an infinite supply to pay the miners rather than relying on a completely free market and difficulty adjustments, which is a deal-breaker for me.
