For me, I won't use Monero for 2 reasons:
1: The "Don't verify, trust" ethos. It prioritizes privacy over verifiably sound of money, and while both are important, it's putting the cart before the hors...
It only has an infinite supply if you live for infinite time. If you do not live for infinite time, then it has a very viable supply at all times.
And it's not like the small amount of inflation is going to eat away your value because it's less than gold and gold has been money for thousands of years and held its value.
