Gaming on Linux sucks. It just does and that's what we must accept. I use Linux as a productivity tool. No, not for development, I mean I do, but I install and I use Linux to keep me from playing competitive video games.

Was gonna suggest editing the engine.ini file since but it seems poe was not made in unreal engine so that won't work. Are you trying with steam proton?

If I had to guess, you have integrated+dedicated cards and the game isn't using your dedicated card. Run into this on occasion with my Nvidia laptop.

Have had that happen on a few titles. Did all the proton stuffs nothing helped. Running virtually so swapped to a windows VM and fixed. So definitely a wine/proton related. PoE2 works great on my CachyOS system. Haven't tried PoE though yet. You already tried going into the game settings and forcing Steam Proton compatibility?

I game on Linux and it works great for me. In the beginning I had a problem that my installation war borked (I broke it trying some stuffs) and Gamemode was not working, I fixed that and it then didn't gave me now trouble, even less when using steam. With steam is usually just download and play
