Have had that happen on a few titles. Did all the proton stuffs nothing helped. Running virtually so swapped to a windows VM and fixed. So definitely a wine/proton related. I've tried a few different versions of proton as they suggest, but I realized, so far it was in games optimized for OpenGL which nvidia knowning has trouble with to the point where it's in their driver install logs.

Switching to directx in games that allowed it didn't help either. Am also at a loss. Slideshow city.
