Chipper is the most important power tool on a homestead after a chainsaw. Essential tool for me. Amazing for disposing of large amounts of woody wastes and turning it into mulch/compost.

At our #allotment, I pile up the branches and other hard-to-compost stuff twice a year, and burn it in a bonfire. I then mix the ash back into the ground.

I just make biochar with it.
