2, AI data center loads are extremely variable loads not fixed loads. They have very large and very fast swings in power consumption which are difficult to manage as a generator.

3, data centers make very few jobs compared to any other use of the space. How are they paying the community when there are no meaningful local salaries?

As someone who has first hand experience working in data centers, you really sound like your knowledge is entirely based on a few astroturf articles.

My source is that I have friends that work in building out data centers and use my brain and read stuff. I said you guys should ask ai to get the public evidence of the contracts that are extremely favorable for local govs and utilities. There is plenty of stuff out there. I never said anything jobs...
