I think that qualifying BIP 110 as an attack on Bitcoin is retarded.

I'm not an expert on this stuff, but going through the process they are currently going through seems to be what Bitcoin is all about. They're just using the protocol.

If you consider people using the protocol to achieve somethings you disagree with to be "an attack on Bitcoin" it seems like you think Bitcoin ought to be exactly what you want. But I don't think that's the case.

Agreed in point, but I’d also add that argument goes both ways! I’ve heard more from the BIP-110 saying “core 30 is an attack on Bitcoin” than the other way around.
