My point is that Monero is playing junior softball, bitcoin is major league.

If monero was playing major league right now then the State would just mine empty blocks and make it unusable, or do a massive reorg so that poeple can't trust transactions that are less than a year old or whatever (there's fuck all hashpower compared to bitcoin).
